Finally

Yes folks I have finally sewn Noah's scout patches on his uniform. 1 year and 1 month after starting scouts, he is official. Yes, yes, Thank you, I'm pretty proud of myself! If there is the "one more thing" in life that can send a busy life into chaos, it was adding the weekly den meeting and monthly pack meeting to our schedule. While we will never be "super scouters," I can see how he enjoys it and I am making peace with it. Thus, the patches on the shirt. Yes, big moment at our house last night. Noah's response..."Finally..." Yep, I felt like mother of the year.

  1. When I grow up I want to be just like you. I am still finding scout patches that were not put on Justin's uniform and he is now 24. That is the problem with being child number 5. Does that make me not "mother of the year"? Yep.
Tell Noah that his job is to GET EXCITED when you do those things or you may not get around to it and he will get to do it. Remind him to not just expect that you are the "maid". Sometimes the "maid" starts to forget and then he would be in Justin's possition.
Suggest to him you deserve positive reinforcement or the projects may get forgotten. Give him a needle and thread and teach him to sew and then he will appreciate you.
I must give you lessons on how to let your children appreciate you. Stop by.
I think you are awesome. LuAnn
