More Summer

Book club continues. Delivering "owl post" to our members every two weeks. It keeps everyone excited about summer reading. Last delivery I found these cool 3D wood owl puzzles at Michaels on clearance (score!) and included them with the letter. Dropped them off on doorsteps with a few feathers really cute, really fun. But, the owl puzzle was kind of frustrating. Oh well...

Started knitting a sweater for me. More to come on that lateer. I will be finished with it in two years and will expect everyone to gush over it every time you see it. Because even if it is the ugliest, most shapeless sweater in the history of mankind, i will be wearing it everywhere.

Blue plastic kiddie pools. Worth every cent of the 3.99 I paid for it, and not to mention the woozy feeling that came from inflating it by mouth.

Trying to keep my flowers alive
Sprinkler system leak
Dying yarn with kool-aid (AWESOME.. more on that later.)
Fireside with the "Bishop" at our house tomorrow. It made me clean the bathrooms so good deal.
Make treats for fireside with the Bishop tomorrow.
Canning cherry jam count'em 20 pints. Guess what you are getting for Christmas?
Reading as much as I can. Drizzle was the latest book. Now on The Borrowers.
Seeing Shanlie on Tuesday. Atlanta really is too far away.
Yoga
Morning walk
Pioneer Day parade
Scrambeled eggs for dinner twice last week. Frozen Waffles once. It was a good week!
Laundry has decided that it is going to take over the house if I don't pay attention to it. So on the the never ending black hole that is laundry in the summer with 3 kids. (Riddle me this, 5 pairs of pajama pants to 1 pair of underwear??? hmmmm.)

Happy Summer

  1. Oh my Jessica! We really live parallel lives (except the Bishop thing). I really love empty summer days and filling them with whatever comes to mind. You are such a wonderful, creative mom. So glad we're friends! I hear you with laundry! Except with my little girls-they run out of underwear before I can wash more. If they change their clothes (3 times a day) underwear gets changed too! Keep posting about summer. I love it!
