Halloween Costumes

This year Noah chose his own costume.  We have so much in the way of Halloween costume items, that we told him it had to be made from stuff we already had, or had around the house.  Dad's labcoat became a mad scientist costume.  He loved it!  Chris drew pictures of chemistry and physics equations and we pinned those all over his coat.  (Noah drew a picture of diet coke and mentos)
We had a fun day.  The fall festival at the kids school.  It is a big schoolwide carnival games, treats, prizes etc.  We look forward to it every year.   Then on to the Trunk or Treat which as a mom I love.
We carved pumpkins with the nieghbors and Ella just sat and played with the ice cream scoop and the pulled out pumpkin "guts."  She was fascinated.
Lauren was Ginny Weasly from Harry Potter, and all those photos are on Chris' phone.  That is because I was busy taking the pink spongey rollers out of my hair.  Dressed up for me this year was to go from stick straight hair to super curly.  Ella was a ballerina, and spent most of the day freaked out by all the wierd people wandering around in costumes.  Her photos on Dad's cell phone as well.
