What did you just say...?

It is a snowy lazy day at our house.  The kids have this whole week off for Thanksgiving break and we decided that today was a "frump" day as we call it.  PJ's can be worn all day, no chores, etc,.

So I hope that sets the scene....

We find our mom sitting at the kitchen table, trying to warm up after her early morning walk with her neighbor.  She is drinking hot cocoa and wondering if chocolate chex should really be considered a breakfast food.  When in comes her 3 kids up from the basement.  They all scurry to their rooms in search of something and trying to hide that search from the mom.  The mom wonders if she should follow up on this activity or just claim ignorance when the inevitable happens.

Suddenly she hears a daughter exclaim "hurry we have to get back to blankity-blank."

Mom who can no longer ignore the activity, "ummmm, what was that you just said? what are you doing?"

Head peeks around the corner and says, "mom we are just getting more blankets for our fort, we named it "blanket"-y blank."

Mom, "ummm"

Kids scurry back arms loaded with blankets.

I think I'll deal with this later.
