Hello friends,
I am the mom of a 6 month old baby. Wait you say, how is that possible because the last time you told us anything about her she was 2 weeks old... Life is a wonderful, incredible, crazy, fast and furious, bumpy, joyful, intense ride. I feel like most days I am hanging on for dear life and trying not to miss it, or wish it away. We have had some great moments that I will slowly pull out and try to share, but for now, I am going to watch a sleeping baby sleep. I am going to smell her baby smell, and count the minutes of bliss that is a sleeping little one.
I will leave you with this list:
Lauren is 7
Lauren is a reader!
Ella is a helper. Not kidding she wants to work. She wants a job and she wants it to be real, and she is a hard worker when you give her something to do.
Noah is 11. My first baby is a boy scout, a fith grader, and no longer a little boy, he is changing so fast, sigh.
Noah and his friend raised $722 for the Idaho Foodbank on their own with their own idea. I am so proud of them I could burst.
I got some beautiful new yarn that looks at me from my basket longingly. It keeps telling me that it could be something beautiful if I would only play with it. I know little lovely yarn, I hear you, maybe I should get you a friend. Then the two of you could talk to each other and not to me.
Chris is no longer transient bishop as of 3 weeks ago, maybe that is why I even found a moment to sit in front of this computer. Still the regular bishop, but I can almost handle that after the last 6 months. Brutal! At some point it is hard to sit and share your life with people, when you don't really feel like it belongs to you in the first place. Ouch that sounded harsh, and I don't mean it that way, it is hard to put into words....
I got a roku for Christmas. I highly recommend this handy little device. Check it out.
Still in love with the orb factory sticky mosaics for kids.
Spent 5 days on my own with 4 kids for the first time. Chris was on a business trip and we survived, it was touch and go there the last couple of days but we did it and everyone came through relatively unscathed.
Lauren is missing 7 teeth and likes to do her own hair. Awesome, I hope her teacher knows she is loved.
Noah is losing his molars.
Lily is getting her 2 front teeth.
And Ella is desperately trying to get any of hers to wiggle.

Wow, you finally updated! I'm glad you are surviving and have such great kids. That's cute that Ella is a worker, that's my little Briella, constantly asking for chores and scrubbing the house. Why can't they all be like that? Take care of yourself, enjoy life, and doggone it, get that yarn out of sight if you have to!
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you!! Glad everyone is well! Missing you bunches!
