I found this idea on another blog and decided to give it a try. it is called a pillowcase dress. Super fast and super easy. In less than 2 hours I had made both dresses and the hairbows. This would make the best dress-up dress. Sparkly fabric for a fairy, pink for Aurora, blue for Cinderella etc.....
I love the dresses they are too cute! and little Lauren and Ella are just the right girls to show them off! You have to tell me how you did it Pillowcases?!? Love it!
ReplyDeleteThey are meant to be made from a pillowcase, but I used fabric that I had purchased to make an apron that never got made. So, I first had to sew a "pillowcase" and then go from there. I will find the link I used for instructions and post that. Or, just go to google and search "pillowcase dress instructions" and you will find lots to choose from. Find a set of instructions that speak to you and go from there. Really easy!
