Butterscotch Bites

This is a recipe I got from a lady in our ward.  So yummy.  She called them wheaties cookies, but I don't use wheaties when I make them, so I tweaked the name.  I have used, chex, total, regular cornflakes and kix.  (my kids really loved the total cereal variety)

1 package butterscotch chips
1 cup peanutbutter
6 cups cereal (wheaties, total)

Melt chips and peanutbutter together. Pour over cereal and mix well.  Drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper lined tray.  Freeze until set.  Once frozen transfer to zippy bag and leave frozen or in fridge.

Made this for my kids for after school yesterday.  So it can be argued that isn't the healthiest snack, it is better than some.  That and my kids "totally" loved it! I couldn't resist the pun.  But if you read the box, they got 100% of most of thier daily vitamins just from this snack.  Yeah for being sneaky!
