Dear Diary,

Today a friend asked me how my sweater was coming.  After laughing nervously and changing the subject, I realized I have been avoiding my sweater.  It's not that I haven't been crafting anything lately.  I have made at least 40 fabric flower hairbows, a newborn hat out of 100% pima cotten, cream with a slight sheen made with bunny ears and cute little bows on the ears, have decided that my Nintendo DS skills needed some attention.  Wasted a good amount of time pretending to do dishes/laundry and then faking how busy I actually was when the hubby got home.  I should be farther!!! I should have this thing knit.  Why do I not have this farther along.  Maybe it just seems like it's the never-ending project.  The project that no matter how much progress you think you are making, there is still another piece to start.  Maybe I should stop thinking of it as a sweater.  The back piece could be turned into a doily.  A 30x27 inch doily.  Yeah I have a use for that......

    Gotta love how doily can save the day. I actually was crocheting some stockings and I got the toe done, realized it wasn't going so well, needed a YW project that had take some hours so POOF I actually made a doily, and got my project done in one swap :)

    Haha, you're Nintendo DS skills needed some attention. K, that made me laugh. C'mon Jessica, you can do it! I'm just dying to see this finished sweater.
