The leaves are turning and the temp has dipped. Fall the season of seasons is here. I enjoy fall. I enjoy its colors, weather, smells, etc
First off, long sleeves and sweaters are back woo-hoo.
A good book "The Little White Horse" by Elizabeth Goudge , lovely and so well written.
Carmel Apple Cider by Stevens (the hot cocoa brand)
Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch and afternoon well spent.
Knitting while wrapped in a comfy blanket. I am excited to report progress on my sweater. General Conference weekend was a real boost in progress. The back and both front pieces are done! I am 12 and 1/2 inches into the first sleeve. I may be abe to get this thing done by President's Day if I don't burn out again.
Starting to think about kids and Christmas a little bit. I know its early still, but it helps me to get my thoughts pulled together.
Halloween is just around the corner, and I am sad to report that this year I kind of crashed and burned on the costume front. No theme for the Owens house this year. This will be the first time since Noah was 2 that we havn't done something themed as a family. I'm not sad, it really came down to survival this year, I'm just feeling thoughtful about it. Memories and all that.
I get my hair cut and colored this Friday. That is about an inch overdue. The highlight line has become so noticable that even the ponytail doesn't hide it.
My tea kettle is starting to whistle and Ella is very concerned about it. I am off to enjoy a cup of carmel apple cider, just typing about it made it seem like a good idea.

Is Halloween coming up? I guess I need to get on top of the costume thing for my kids too. And fall reminds me that family pictures are nice in the fall and I need to ask you if you can do ours sometime.
