Dear Friends,
I have been missing you. I feel like I have been missing me as well. I know we are all busy, I joke often that I speak "busy'" I am very fluent in busy. However, this past month has given me reason to think there is busy, and then there is, just raise the white flag and surrender to the vortex of swirling chaos busy. We have had 3 birthdays, 3 kids start school, 5 teeth pulled and 1 cavity, we have had a daddy with a severely broken arm and broken wrist (tender mercy, it was the left on both counts), orthopedic surgery a week later, and both (I kid you not, you can't make this stuff up...) yes that is both of my grandmas passed away. All of this happened between August 20th and September 15th. I have also been trying to keep up with all of the regular daily stuff that is necessary for a family with 4 kids. Laundry, dishes, baths, cooking, volunteering etc. Add all the church stuff into this mix and I have been feeling a bit harried. And for a couple of weeks a little bit numb. It reaches a point when disbelief and thankfully the giggles take over and nothing surprised me anymore. I will tell you the story of the broken arm. It is a good one. Right now, I want to watch tv. I think I've earned it.
Oh and I love my new "job" as the once a week art teacher for Lauren's class. So many fun ideas and projects to share!

Aw, thanks for the update. Sorry about the business, I hope things can settle a bit for you. And I would love to hear the broken arm story, sounds pretty exciting.
