Ella's 2nd Birthday

Wow, I cannot believe she is already 2. She had such a fun and mellow day. She got her birthday present in June so she could use it. It was a little tikes princess car. She loves to sit in it with her purse and "cell phone" talking to her friend Suri. Suri also has a little tikes car which she sits in with her little purse and "cell phone" talking to Ella. It is too much fun to watch them sitting in our driveway facing each other in thier cars talking to each other on the phone.

So, for her actual birthday she got her princess cake. Back in March at our Youth Service Auction I bid on custom made cake and won. Teresa asked what and when I wanted it. I immediately said I wanted a princess cake for Ella's birthday! (Really it was for me. I always wanted a doll cake growing up. I love taht we can re-live childhood through our kids a little bit.)I have just been waiting since March for my red-headed princess cake. (It's an Ariel doll) Ella loved it. She could not take her eyes off of it. Then when she found out it was covered in "sugar' and you could eat it as well as play with it, it was little girl heaven.
