I didn't grow up with any type of video game system. It is no secret that I am not good at playing them at all. (To quote Poe the panda from Kung Fu Panda, "In the history of sucking...no one could suck more.") So, who knew that I would not just like, but love my cute little pink Nintendo DS. Well it might be that I love puzzles and games like tetris etc. and now the DS allows me to carry fun games like that with me while I wait in the pick-up zone at Noah's school, or while waiting for the kids jiu jitsu lesson to end. I wanted to tell you about my favorite game. The Professor Layton series. The second game just came out 2 weeks ago, and it is just as incredible as the first. A mystery wrapped around a bunch of puzzles, sprinkled with fun! I am so addicted. I must admit that quiet time is non-negotiable at our house lately, and laundry has fallen into a state of complete chaos. Plus when I finish this game, it is going to give me a code that unlocks more stuff in the first game and so on. I am geeking out over here. I think I will take a couple of more days and then I will have to transition back to real life, but in the meantime.......I must continue my investigation. Until then my friends.

At least it's a guilty pleasure that has zero calories! My guilty pleasures usually pack about 5 pounds on me!
ReplyDeleteYes, but while I am playing I usually burn through quite a few packages of fruit snacks. (Mmmmm kirkland jelly belly fruit snacks.) And yes, one package no big deal....5 packages little bit of a problem :o)
