Dear Diary

I have decided that knitters are crazy.  They suck you into their world with the fun, quick, oh so cute projects like hats, and then they tell you that sweaters are just as fun and easy....they don't tell you however that they are not quick.  I will be knitting this for years.  12 of 27 inches done on the first front piece.  Yeah that's the first of two front pieces.

I have not really had any time to knit, think, breathe, sleep, etc.  as of late.  School starts this Tuesday.  Kids and I have been enjoying the last free days of summer.  A much much MUCH needed weekend away with Chris.  When you both say hey roomy to each other in kind of a not really joking way, steps need to be taken.  Tawny came for a visit and I had a chance to be a girl and not just a mommy for a couple of girls nights.  Crafty and chatty.  Fun fun.  Week three of putting together a ward from nothing.  (You know, and lightning will strike me, it's not as much fun as you would think.)  Ella has to get her tonsils and adnoids out this Thursday.  It is a happy/sad thing.  I am happy that she will feel and sleep better, but I don't think any parent wants to take their kid in for any kind of procedure/surgery.  I have also decided that my minimum level of clean in my house is now 3 or 4 levels lower than it used to be.  I'm not sure how I feel about this???  Admittedly some days better than others.  I am wondering if each kid is responsible for 1 level of clean each, then 1 combined chaos level.  Discuss
